The aim of the «Jazz Recitals»™ concert series is to regularly present the world's best jazz musicians, the masters of jazz, unamplified in a classical setting to a wide public in the best possible conditions. The goal is to get an audience consisting of jazz and classical music lovers interested in these concerts.

The concerts are presented unamplified and acoustically pure, to give emphasis to the chamber music aspect of jazz. Solo recitals are possible just as are duo or trio formations. To ensure utmost flexibility in the programming, however, larger existing formations or newly arranged ones with traps can perform, provided they have (increasingly rare) mastery of the purely acoustically presented concert.

The setting of the «Jazz Recitals»™ must be worthy of the importance of these musician personalities which only the large concert halls - those mostly reserved for classical music - can ensure.

The series features mostly jazz pianists. This concentration is partly based on the fact that the unaccompanied piano solo is considered the "high art" of jazz. On the other hand, the range of outstanding older and younger jazz pianists compared with other jazz sections is very extensive. Brilliant soloists of other sections and singers can also be included in this concept, as long as they can perform unamplified or just with a vocal microphone.
